Another day went swimmingly at the Ulladulla heated indoor pool, followed by lunch at the club, some shopping, and afternoon tea at beautiful Burrill Lake.
I stocked up with Indonesian BIR BINTANG at ALDI while Padma spent a small fortune on a pair of fashion sunglasses at a dyslexic optician's shop which was only slightly off-set by visiting a couple of op-shops for some cheap but interesting books by, amongst others, W.S Maugham and David Malouf.
I must confess to one addiction and that is books. It is a harmless addiction and, since I discovered op-shops, also an inexpensive one but I need to control it as all those books, read and unread and others in the process of being read, already begin to colonise the recently built 'Clubhouse" by the pond.
Today's forecast is for a very summerish 21 degrees. Come Beer O'clock, what better way is there than to spend the rest of the day with a book and a BIR BINTANG in the "Clubhouse" by the pond (aka 'The Lagoon of Subliminal Reflections' ☺ ) ?
