What do you call a cow with no legs? Ground beef", read this sign in the Woolies store in the Adelaide suburb of Glenelg before it was howled - and hauled - down.
There must be something in Adelaide's water or maybe living in a palin-drome means they don't know if they're coming or going, but everybody seems to have a beef about it. “What a disrespectful and insensitive bunch who work at Woolworths Glenelg”, wrote Lesley Millward.
Disrespectful? Insensitive? It's called 'meat' and some of us like eating it. So stop trying to impose your views on the rest of the world and go back to chewing your grass with the rest of your bunch of whingers, Lesley.
Honestly, though, Australia is losing it - and not just its sense of humour.
