Rock fever decribes the hemmed-in, claustrophobic, trapped feeling mainlanders get when they spend too much time on an island (variously attributed to the Rock of Gibraltar and also Hawaii).
"Riverbend", being surrounded on two sides by the river and backed by a lagoon, can also create a bit of a trapped feeling, unless we break away from it for a while. So with 'Riverbend Rot' setting in, we have rejoined the University of the Third Age and the Batemans Bay Bushwalkers to give us some outside activities.
