It's that time of the year again, and so I downloaded all of CommSec's end-of-year summaries - interest and dividends summary, transactions summary, portfolio valuation, and financial year summary - calculated the realised and unrealised profits, and emailed the lot off to my auditors in Sydney.
I calculated everything right down to the last cent, and it turned out to have been a (very) good year. Still, my auditors emailed me straight back, "As trustee of your superfund, you are also required to provide us with a copy of your investment strategy for the current year."
Off the cuff, as it were, I emailed them back a picture of my cufflinks.
