I Know Where I'm Going

If you are a fan of Gavin Maxwell and his "Ring of Bright Water", you'll love this film with its beautiful photography of the Inner Hebrides from the time when Gavin Maxwell would have known it, and of the Isle of Mull. There is even a a sequence of the whirlpool where Gavin's "Polar Star" nearly came to grief.

Watch out at 44:00 for the little girl; she is Petula Clark, famous for singing 'Downtown' and other hits. Apart from all this, "I Known Where I'm Going" is a great romantic film that has stood the test of time.

And isn't there something really special about black-and-white movies?
I mean, could you imagine Humphrey Bogart and "Casablanca" in colour?

As for the title of the movie, I wished I could say the same for myself!
