If sitting is the new smoking, I'm a chain-smoker. If I'm not sitting on the jetty dangling my feet in the river, or sitting in the tree-house reading a book, or on the verandah watching the passing parade on the river, I'm probably sitting in front of the computer.
And after all that sitting has totally exhausted me, I'd be lying to you if I didn't admit to be lying down, either on the hammock on the verandah, or the old sofa in the clubhouse by the pond, or in bed listening to LNL.
I think I now lay down my pen and lie down for a while. Who said retire-ment was easy - or English spelling, for that matter?
