There is a whole generation of television-watchers who know nothing of Hugh Laurie's ancient comedy partnership with Stephen Fry, nor of his glorious reign as the Prince Regent in Blackadder, and so I was happy to discover this comic performer in the 4-part political thriller "Roadkill".
I have already binge-watched the first three episodes on ABC iview - and for the benefit of all my overseas readers (well, the one, really!), I have added the link here - and I am waiting for the fourth and last episode to be screened this coming Sunday.
Greed and corruption at the heart of government; a politician even more thickly coated in Teflon than a frying-pan; it almost makes you feel like you are watching the evening news, doesn't it?
