Got up early this morning to get Padma to her bus pick-up on time - she's visiting the Floriade in Canberra today - when I spied this floating bedroom on the river just off Riverbend.
Couldn't get a clearer picture of it which is just as well as seeing close up what looked more hippie than happy may have forced me to invoke some ancient quarantine laws. Thankfully, they kept drifting downriver which left me drifting off to sleep again as today is my day of rest after yesterday's full-on day at Ulladulla where we swam and wined and dined and picked up some more books and DVDs.
There's been some rain last night and everything looks so much greener. Waved back at the poor old woman up the lane who's afflicted with that terribly crippled middle finger; discovered two little turtles beside the pond; fed the wild ducks and the wild parrots; now I'm ready to go back to sleep in the "clubhouse" by the pond. The way things are going, I may miss today's nap and sleep right through it.
