Australian Citizenship Test

There used to be a time when being able-bodied and willing to work was all that was required to come to Australia. Not these days! Now you have to pass a Citizenship Test with questions such as:

"Which is the birth place of Sir Frank Macfarlane Burnet?"
---I beg your pardon? Who?

or

"Who lit the Olympic cauldron in Sydney Olympics 2000?"
---Who gives a stuff?

or

"Who was Barry Marshall?"
---It couldn't be the Barry Marshall I knew in New Guinea who was a hopeless drunk!

Why not give the same test to all sitting members of Parliament? All those who fail - 100% ? - would get deported!! Think of all the money we could save!
