If you love animals, here is a movie (and book) you will treasure. "Ring of Bright Water" is the enchanting story of Graham Merrill's life with a pet otter, Mij. Because he cannot keep an otter in a city apartment, Merrill accepts the offer of a cottage on the wild and lonely coast of Northern Scotland. There, a wonderful friendship develops between the two.
Of course, this fictionalised film script is based on Gavin Maxwell's book "Ring of Bright Water". What a great way to end a weekend! Enjoy!
