Next Tuesday it'll be Sydney! By car as far as Bomaderry where Padma will spend the day with friends while I catch the train to Sydney Central and a cab from there to the Lifehouse for a bit more poking and probing.
If we leave "Riverbend" at 7 o'clock, we should make it to Bomaderry in time for me to catch the 9.20 train which gets into Central at midday. My appointments, one with the surgeon, the other with the oncologist, are for 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. respectively. I ought to be able to catch the train at 15.24 from Central to be back at Bomaderry at 18.12.
A quick Chinese dinner with our friends at Bomaderry, and we should be back at "Riverbend" well in time for Late Night Live with Phillip Adams.
