Dog's what?

For those who can't spell 'apostrophe', I settle for the descriptive 'flying comma'
With regard to 'veranda', I stick with my British spelling 'verandah' 😀

Another perfect day, and we started it with a walk across the bridge to the Nelligen Café where I found this new sign on the wall. In their defence, it must be said that at least they are totally consistent in using an apostrophe in both 'dog's', but why not knock yourself out and slap an apostrophe in 'time's', too?

Of course, it took several hours before we got home again because we met so many people and everyone had something to say. 'Big Terry' was there too, but he's now 'Little Terry' after having lost 82 kilos during his recent illness. That's more than I have weighed in total in all my life!

As I sit in front of my computer again, I wonder if I should report the café to the Apostrophe Protection Society, of which I have been a card-carrying member for many years. Perhaps I should make allowances for the fact that the café is run by an ex-plumber who knows more about plumbing than punctuation marks, but then again, there are plumbers and then there are plumbers - or, as this particular plumber would say, "There are plumber's and then there are plumber's".
