Only a fool would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it to the bottom of a blanket and have a longer blanket

Clocks go forward one hour this morning. I wished mine would go back to the time when people were just male and female; when being gay still meant being light-hearted and carefree; when 'woke' was simply the past tense of 'wake'; when people were not constantly offended by something as if that gave them certain rights; when they just got on with their lives instead of always blaming someone else for it; and when they could still decide what to have for dinner that night before deciding where to book that holiday twenty-five years ahead *).

As for daylight saving time, I once had a blanket that was too short to cover my feet, so I cut a foot off the top and sewed it onto the bottom.

Anyway, this year I really couldn't be bothered and used a quick fix!
