Not being able to sleep at night, you have three choices: toss and turn and feel quite terrible about it, or get up to make yourself a cup of tea and read a book, or lie back and relax and turn on the radio and listen to ABC Radio National.
I did none of this, because I had left on the radio before I fitfully fell asleep just after ten o'clock, only to wake up again at one o'clock in the morning to ABC Radio National's BIG IDEAS program "How to build a stock exchange — the past, present and future of finance". What a treat!
It's almost lunchtime and, discovering that the market is a sea of green, I could easily afford to buy the book on ebay, but why bother when I can listen to Philip Proscoe's seventeen episodes here. A day well spent!
