Monday is not our usual shopping day but Padma had a toothache and we were lucky to get a quick appointment with Tidy Tooth Dental at Broulee where she was quickly relieved of $315 and a tooth. It was smiles all round!
In fact, things worked out so well that, come lunchtime, Padma was ready for a bite to eat at the New Golden Lake Chinese Restaurant: soft dumplings for her and a large portion of Black Pepper Chicken for me.
For sweets we went to Vinnies where I found an almost pristine copy of Daniel Klein's "Every Time I Find the Meaning of Life, They Change It".
After having read his "Travels with Epicurus" and "Plato and a Platypus walk into a Bar", I'd been meaning to order "Every Time I Find the Meaning of Life ..." on ebay, and there it was at Vinnies for a gold coin.
Better than ebay!
