Vomit for breakfast

As I sit here, sipping my first cup of tea for the day, heavily laced with bee vomit (aka honey) to make up for the grey skies outside, my mind wanders (as it does these days).

Think about it: we are told NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.

And then we constantly hear about how the Australian Old Age Pension Plan could run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second group didn't. (Of course, I saw this coming and have been a self-funded retiree since 2001)

Next month's federal budget could be a real stinker. If things get much worse, local councils around the country may have to replace their "KEEP OFF THE GRASS" signs with "DON'T EAT THE GRASS".

How Treasurer Joe Hockey will be able to handle all this without the help of his sharp-minded Assistant Treasurer, the Honourable Arthur Sinodinos AO, who couldn't recall much of anything during the current ICAC inquiry, is a mystery to me.
