I already have all of Eric Newby's travel books, including a beautiful slip-cover FOLIO edition of "The Last Grain Race", but when I found a paperback edition in a local op-shop with the backcover blurb bearing a hand-written correction, I had to "re-home" it.
The previous owner of this book was completely correct in changing the preposition from "to" to "from", as those majestic windjammers loaded grain in Australia which was destined for British mills half a world away.
