There are lots of things that keep me awake at night - insomnia for one thing! - but tonight, after a lot of stomping across the ceiling - to say nothing of the pooping and pissing - just as the witching hour was approaching, I heard the sound of the door shutting on the possum trap.
GOTCHA! Why can't you stay inside your own Possum Penthouse, which I built for you and in which I serve you breakfast in bed every morning?
You've stretched our friendship now and there won't be any more breakfast in bed. However, I won't do a Midnight Express - I haven't watched that movie in many years and must've another look at it; click here - and you'll just have to wait until tomorrow before I release you somewhere very, very far away from "Riverbend".
In the meantime, there's a nice apple to chew on, and then sleep well - as I will, for the first time in weeks!
